Australia is a continent with some of the longest stretches of railway tracks in the world, and often these tracks pass through dry deserts with intense heat and unbelievably harsh conditions. Temperatures climb above 40’C during the day and plummet during the night, causing all kinds of impact on diesel locomotive radiator cooling systems.

Australia also sees some of the longest trains ever recorded with loads of almost 1000 tons moved by 8 locomotives and numerous wagons stretching over 7kms in length. As well as the heavyweights’, many suburban networks run railcars & DMU sets to commute passengers around the city and outer suburbs.

Through the Wheatbelt and other farming areas of the states, grain trains haul continuously through the busy seasons and cane trains are equally busy between the plantations & the mills.

Our nation has a proven history with Classic Cars, from the FX Holden to the XB Ford. Vintage radiators come in many different shapes, designs, constructions and configurations.

Redback Radiators offer Australian made, heavy duty copper brass replacement radiators for Veteran, Vintage and Classic cars. 

We manufacture a wide range of Copper/Brass Radiator Kits to replace Aluminium or Plastic aluminium OEM units.

Industrial Radiators

For many remote locations, diesel generators are often the most reliable electricity option. These require industrial radiators. Similarly key businesses and service providers often have a backup generator in case of national power outages - typically hospitals, banks, and even shopping centres will have a standby diesel generator.
